Abby’s Off Hook

Abby’s off the hook is a specialty knitting company born out of a daycare mom’s love and need for hats that fit for her children. Over the years Abby Emerson has learned that it is also a wonderful way to relax, reducing anxiety, show her creativity and artistic side, and allow her children to start designing and being creative. Abby has also figured out how to incorporate her love into her day job by having her daycare kids die yarn for one of a kind unique pieces. Abby enjoys trying out patterns for others and creating her own! Custom design requests are often a fun challenge and greeted with excitement from Abby. Hats are her primary product but Abby has been known to complete coffee cozies, art pieces, and wonderful knit and crochet stuffed animals. Hi! I’m Missy, the founder of Crafting By Missy. I’m a mom of three kids, an avid crafter, and a crocheting addict. My crazy crocheting habit started when I was 5-years-old. My great-grandmother gave me a crochet hook, a bag of leftover yarn, and taught me a few basic stitches. I’ve come a long way from that first hourglass-shaped blanket!
